Repositioning CLAIRE:
From a Feature to a Foundation
I led the transformation of CLAIRE AI from a buried feature into a central pillar of the Informatica console. By rethinking the information architecture, I introduced a new homepage—Informatica Home—where CLAIRE became a persistent, context-aware assistant that surfaces relevant data insights and offers predictive next steps, no matter where users are in their journey. Rather than living in isolation, CLAIRE became embedded across the platform as an intelligent partner working alongside the user.
AI That Starts Your Day for You
I reimagined CLAIRE as an active teammate for developers and data engineers. Through Jira integration, the new homepage presents smart prompts for high-impact data tasks—automatically prioritized by due date, relevance, and complexity. When users engage, CLAIRE analyzes the Jira ticket and supporting documents to generate tailored suggestions. With just a few clicks, users can watch CLAIRE handle complex tasks like entity creation, schema refinement, and automated data quality rules.
Interactions That Build Confidence
To build trust in CLAIRE’s intelligence, I designed key microinteractions that made its actions transparent and user-driven. Users can explore suggested prompts, view data artifacts, and dive into CLAIRE’s reasoning behind each suggestion. I optimized flows to support both automation and agency—giving engineers the control they expect with the insight they didn’t know they needed.
